Over the course of this month, I will be completing a portfolio project.
For this project…
I will be taking my current media brand, Clam Chowder, and launching a website. In addition to this, I will develop online courses, podcasts, blogs, galleries, and more that will be available as resources to the creative community. The end goal is to build an online presence that serves as a platform that encourages, supports, and provides resources to artists from all around the world.
I chose this project because…
This is what I am passionate about. In addition to this, completion of this project will demonstrate the skills that I am most excited to learn and use in my life. Those skills include: project management, content creation, and networking.
My weekly goals:
Week one:
Create a detailed schedule for the month.
Set a budget.
Create a list of relevant resources.
Outline what content will be included on the website.
Week two:
Contact and lock down any contributors.
Design the website.
Launch the promotional landing page.
Create an email list.
Publish my week two project update.
Week three:
Run Facebook ads.
Finalize website and featured content.
Test website and collect insights through survey responses.
Update website with any new insights in mind.
Publish my week three project update.
Week four:
Launch the website.
Track and record information, data, and responses in order to improve consumer satisfaction.

The hardest part…
As I approach this project, I know that it will be a test of my organizational skills, more than anything else. It requires me to do a great deal of scheduling and networking, and I know that it might be difficult to make everything come together in such a short period of time.
I’m going to kill it because…
I am passionate and dedicated to this project. The skill that will help me most of all is my ability to find solutions to any problem.
